About the Role

As an Event Coordinator, you will work closely with Dixie Center marketing staff to plan and execute successful events. Your role will involve ensuring seamless coordination of all event logistics, including setup, security, and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to determine event needs, including setup, security, and technical requirements.
  • Assess available resources and arrange additional rentals when necessary.
  • Prepare diagrams and sketches for event setups, including tables, chairs, booths, audiovisual and multimedia equipment, electrical outlets, and other special materials.
  • Prepare and manage event-related documentation, including reports and billing statements for additional charges.
  • Oversee event logistics, ensuring a smooth setup of all required elements, including medical and security coverage.
  • Monitor event progress to ensure client satisfaction and compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Secure the venue post-event to maintain security and proper closure.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least six (6) months of experience in event or stage management (including internships or equivalent experience).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and coordinate multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
