Job Responsibilities
As an MRI Technologist – MRA, you will:
🔹 Perform high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans and Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) procedures.
🔹 Properly position and prepare patients for MRI scans.
🔹 Communicate scan information to physicians for further analysis.
🔹 Administer or assist in administering contrast media for imaging.
🔹 Ensure MRI safety for patients and staff.
🔹 Maintain clean, well-stocked MRI rooms and equipment.
🔹 Provide training to student technologists and radiology residents.
🔹 Perform quality control checks on MRI equipment.
🔹 Assist with general radiographic procedures if required.
Requirements & Qualifications
🎓 Education & Certification:
✅ State of California Certificate to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (Must attach proof).
✅ Competence in MRI technology & MRA procedures.
✅ Sufficient training and experience in MRI physics, anatomy, and safety principles.
🛠 Required Skills:
🔹 Expertise in MRI & general radiographic techniques.
🔹 Ability to recognize anomalies and abnormalities in scans.
🔹 Knowledge of MRI physics, positioning techniques, and equipment troubleshooting.
🔹 Strong communication and patient care skills.
🔹 Basic computer skills.
